The House of Staunton is proud to offer the Club Series Chess Set. A full tournament-sized Chess set, it features a 3.75" King with a 1.5"diameter base. The Chess pieces are hand carved by our master artisans and crafted out of the highest grade woods. The Chess pieces are heavily weighted with luxurious billiard cloth base pads and a beautiful finish.
Mahogany and Maple Folding Wooden Tournament Chessboard
Crafted in Europe, the Mahogany and Maple Folding Wooden Tournament Chessboard features Mahogany (dark) and Maple (light) squares with a Mahogany frame. This Chessboard is 0.5" thick, has a satin finish and has the Rank and File Labels that make it an excellent training tool.
The Ultimate Chess Bag
The Ultimate Chess Bag is designed to not only carry all of your tournament equipment, including roll-up chessboards, chess pieces, clock, pencils and scorebook, but can also carry a House of Staunton-brand folding wooden chessboard.

I received this set approximately four days after ordering. Maple and mahogany board, golden rosewood and natural boxwood pieces. The board is nice. The pieces are weighted and of high quality wood. The colors are beautiful. The detail isn’t what you get if you pay hundreds of dollars more but any reasonable person would expect it to be so. The bag is absolutely excellent. Rugged and everything fits perfectly with a huge amount of extra space even after I put a clock and notebook inside.Rating
I’d like to take a moment to praise House of Staunton’s customer service. I had an issue with just a single pawn. I took it upon myself to email HoS about the issue as well as attach a photo of the pawn. They responded within just a few hours and had a new piece in the mail the next business day without asking any questions. Well done HoS and you have my loyalty from this alone. (Posted on 1/10/2020)
