If you want a set of chess pieces that feels substantial in the hand and can take serious, everyday play without missing a beat, this 3.75" Triple Weighted Regulation Plastic Set is hands-down the best value on the market.
Right out of the box, the difference in heft is immediate. The triple weighting gives every move a heavy, satisfying thud on the board, ensuring pieces won't easily tip over during fast blitz games or intense endgame blitzes.
Here is why this set stands out so much:
Substantial Weight & Stability: The heavy internal weighting gives these pieces a solid, premium hand-feel that rivals far more expensive sets. They stay grounded exactly where you place them.
Classic Staunton Proportions: Standing at a standard 3.75" King height, the proportions and traditional design are clean, recognizable, and official tournament regulation.
Includes Extra Queens: Having two extra queens included right in the set makes pawn promotions smooth and hassle-free without needing to scramble for spare pieces mid-game.
Indestructible Build Quality: Made from durable, high-impact plastic with smooth, crisp moulding. You can toss them in a travel bag or use them daily without worrying about chips, dents, or wear.
Whether you're setting up for study sessions, club play, or competitive tournament matches, this set delivers a perfect blend of utility, weight, and timeless look. Easily a 5-star essential for any serious player's toolkit!

Great weight, look, and feel. Simple White and Black is my favorite because getting camel color (white) pieces are always a risk in my opinion (never seem to look natural like the old Drueke peices).
