The design of the Renegade Series Chess set is a stunning and original masterpiece by the Maestro, Frank A. Camaratta, Jr. The defining feature of this set is how the Maestro was able to capture the relative value of the individual Chessmen into its design and proportions. This unique, robust design has a very uniform look with broad bases and heavy pedestals. Notice the old-world feel and design of the Bishop and the superb carving of the Knight. Another masterpiece from the Maestro! As with all of our Chessmen, the Renegade Series Chess Set exemplifies a perfect combination of distinct beauty and functionality. It has been designed to withstand the rigors of practical play while maintaining an elegance which has become the hallmark of a House of Staunton chess set.
