The complimentary chess board has been designed to provide the perfect amount of contrast for the hornbeam natural and stained chess pieces, and has a rich lacquered finish. The perimeter of the chess board features the traditional rank and file labels, and it can be folded in half for easy storage. Inside the chess board are individual compartments for storing each of the chess pieces when not in use, providing the highest level of protection.
NOTE - All European Collection Chess Sets are made from renewable plantation wood, making them eco friendly.
