    Very nice set. Black/Ivory triple weighed. The ivory is a nice off white, not yellowish as some sets are. Also a nice eggshell finish with almost invisible seams. I have several wood sets but I wanted a set I could leave in my vehicle, ready for a game anytime. I highy recommend these foy anyone looking for a quality, durable set.

    Staunton on steroids!

    I love these pieces and I've played with them on two occasions so far. They're sturdy and have real weight to them. They stand out in a crowd! They certainly stand out on my board! What can I say, House of Staunton you have my thanks and my "go to" award!

    Well worth a few extra dollars

    Very nice set. Well weighted, non glossy finish, mold seems have been finished and barely visible, much nicer and beefier than "Standard Chess Set" single weight which I also have. You won't be disappointed with this set.
