The Premium Chess Box in regal Mahogany has been designed by the experts at the House of Staunton to perfectly hold your favorite chessmen, up to a 4.4” king height with additional queens. It features brass quadrant hinges, green billiard cloth lining, and a lock and key with tassel. The Premium Chess Box comes with or without the House of Staunton logo laser etched on the lid of the box. This item can also be personalized for gift giving.

    Great looking box

    I purchased this box separately to go along with the 3.75" King Ebonized Boxwood Championship Series Pieces. The box can hold almost all of the pieces standing up and looks great with them. The box is a little cramped with every piece standing up and some of the pawns have to be placed on top of each other. I wish that this box could be added to the Ultimate Tournament Chess Set Combination, instead of individually or through the Championship Series Chess Pieces set which only allows a Board to be added with the HoS logo. Highly recommended.
