    good intention bad execution

    the magnets work pretty well, but there is no queen promotion piece. it would be cool if the queen and knight were on the backside of pawns while still working as magnets. another downside to this is that the board is actually split into two pieces of metal, so its never convenient to slide a piece to the othe half of the board without it getting stuck or caught bc the halves are almost never level with one another

    Very small, but legible and well made.

    This is the smallest set Ive every played on, and its great for analysis and problem solving. Seems quite well made for the low price.
