The House of Staunton is proud to offer another masterpiece - The Savano Artisan Series Chessmen. These Chessmen feature a 4.4" King with a 1.8" Diameter base and are very heavily weighted.

The Chess pieces are hand carved by our master artisans and crafted out of the highest grade woods. The Chess pieces are heavily weighted with House of Staunton English Leather basepads on the King and luxurious billiard cloth base pads on the other Chess pieces, with a beautiful finish. As with all of our Chess sets, the Savano Series exemplifies a perfect combination of distinct beauty and functionality. It has been designed to withstand the rigors of practical play while maintaining an elegance which has become the hallmark of a House of Staunton chess set. What is an imperfect item?

Imperfect consists of items that are deemed below the House of Staunton's already high quality standards.  Because these products do not meet or exceed our inspection standards, we are able to pass enormous savings to you!

The inspection report for this set details the following defects:

• Both of the Genuine Ebony Queens have been replaced and do not 100% match the rest of the set (As seen in photographs).

• The Genuine Ebony Knight, left, has been replaced from a different carving and does not 100% match (As seen in photographs).

• There may be other minor imperfections not pictured.
