The House of Staunton is proud to offer another masterpiece - The Vicenza Artisan Series Chessmen. It is the first of five Chess sets from our brand new Artisan Collection, all of which will be introduced during the month of December. These Chessmen feature a 4.0" King with a 1.8" Diameter base and are very heavily weighted.

The Chess pieces are hand carved by our master artisans and crafted out of the highest grade woods. The Chess pieces are heavily weighted with luxurious green leather embossed with the House of Staunton logo and billiard cloth base pads for the other pieces and a beautiful finish. As with all of our Chess sets, the Vicenza Series exemplifies a perfect combination of distinct beauty and functionality. It has been designed to withstand the rigors of practical play while maintaining an elegance which has become the hallmark of a House of Staunton chess set. What is an imperfect item?

Imperfect consists of items that are deemed below the House of Staunton's already high quality standards.  Because these products do not meet or exceed our inspection standards, we are able to pass enormous savings to you!

You will receive one of these Chess Sets that contains imperfections, which may include some of the following:

• One of the Blood Rosewood Rooks may have broken tips on its tower (As seen in photographs).

• One of the Blood Rosewood Bishops may have a scrape on the base (As seen in photographs).

• There may be other minor imperfections not pictured.
