The Chessmen are new and each set consists of 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, a standard that was introduced by The House of Staunton over 10 years ago.
Crafted in Europe, The House of Staunton veneered Mahogany and Maple Wooden Tournament Casket with 2.25" Squares features Mahogany dark) and Maple (light) squares with a storage area that is capable of holding most Staunton Pattern Chess Sets (4.0" and less). The removable Chessboard is 0.5" thick.
