The House of Staunton is proud to offer the Wild Knight Series Chess set. A full tournament-sized Chess set, it features a 3.75" King with a 1.6" diameter base. The Chess pieces are hand carved by our master artisans and crafted out of the highest grade woods. The Chess pieces are heavily weighted with luxurious billiard cloth base pads and a beautiful finish.
THE CHESSBOARD
Crafted in Spain, the House of Staunton Standard Traditional Striped Ebony / Bird's Eye Maple wooden Chessboard features Striped Ebony (dark) and Bird's Eye Maple (light) squares with a Striped Ebony frame. This veneered Chessboard is 0.5" thick, has a satin finish and a beautiful moulded edge.
THE CHESSBOX
The Slide Top Box features green velour lining and divided storage compartments. Each compartment features removable Green "Pillows" that will allow it to safely store small Chess sets. The House of Staunton logo is silk screened on the lid.

The board, pieces, box and carrying bag are all top quality. It was obviously packed with care and everything arrived in pristine condition. The solid board is not only beautiful but heavy which is expected for a high quality board. The weighted pieces feel perfect and make playing a pleasure (even better when you win). The specifications listed are spot on target, so no surprises. If you’re looking for a high quality set (or just the board or pieces) for playing or decorative this is a perfect buy. I wanted a high quality board and pieces set for a very long time and this fit the bill perfectly.

I've wanted a nice chess set for a long time. I decided to splurge on myself and bought this set. I couldn't be happier. The board is very nice. No blemishes at all. The pieces are beautiful. All felt on the bottom is good. Every piece was individually bagged and placed in foam for shipping. Very well packaged all around.
