Paul Keres and Iivo Nei study provide the strongest players in the four games of 25 games in the world and to analyze each one of them. Keres assisted by International Master Iivo Nei, who has been known as a trainer and coach world champion Boris Spassky in 1972 during the match Spassky and Bobby Fischer in Reykjavik, Iceland. In this paper, analyzes of 25 games for each Keres-Fischer and Kortsnoi and Nei analyzes 25 games each by Spasski and Larsen.
It includes three games in the 1972 Fischer-Spassky match. Although I know of no authority claims that the Soviet Union planned to launch interceded for him, and that the Botvinnik talking about Stalin, it remains a fact that many people, including in particular the Latvians and Estonians were executed by Stalin after the war. It was only after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1990, the survivors in these purges were free to talk about these subjects. Unfortunately Keres did not live long enough to enjoy this freedom. His biggest score ever was his first tie the strongest chess ever played, AVRO 1938, double round-robin tournament to determine who would be the next world champion Alexander Alekhine Challenger. Keres and Fine tied finished ahead of future champion Mikhail Botvinnik, current champion Alekhine, former champions Max Euwe and Capablanca in the world, and the Grand Master Samuel Reshevsky and Salo Flohr. This performance earned the right to play the game Keres Alekhine World Chess Championship, a game that Keres probably won, but World War II intervened, and the game never played.
