by Gregory Huber (CD) Gregory Huber's CD actually covers two openings, including the Bishop's Opening (1.e4 e5 2.Bc4) as well as the Vienna Game (2.Nc3). This is logical, however, since in various lines of the Vienna Bc4 is also played and in the same fashion the Bishop's Opening often involves Nc3. Nor does the author omit further possible transitions ? above all to certain variations of the King's Gambit ? with the result that the CD offers a complete repertoire for 1.e4 e5. The work consists of a clearly laid out database containing 26 texts and 330 games, 220 of which have been annotated by the author. In addition there is a large database containing more than 27,000 games (a good 300 of which have been annotated), a training database with 124 training questions and a large opening tree constructed from all the games. All the features at a glance:26 database texts Clearly laid out database by the author 330 selected games Large database with over 27,000 games Training database Reader based on ChessBase 9.0? The author: This is Canadian FIDE-Master Gregory Huber's d?but CD for ChessBase. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Pentium, 32 MB RAM, Win98 SE, WinME, Win2000, WinXP

The Frankenstein–Dracula Variation (1.e4 e5 2.Nc3 Nf6 3.Bc4 Nxe4!?) of the Vienna Game is a monstrous thicket of complications which still have not been fully explored. The opening leads to fascinating positions which will bring enjoyment both in tournament and correspondence play. Although some theorists have treated the variation as dead and buried, experiments have managed to bring the monster variation back to life for Black, and it can now be considered fully playable.
