This large Mahogany chess box fit the 6" king from a House of Staunton chess set I purchased almost 20 years ago. This handsome, well made box adds a nice bit of class to that chess set. The free worldwide shipping was a deal maker.

Almost 20 years ago, I purchased a classic set of wooden chess pieces from the House of Staunton with a 6" king. A couple of months ago, I purchased this chess box. It is a beautiful box that the 6" king stands in perfectly. It adds a lot of class to this beautiful chess set. The free worldwide shipping was an absolute deal maker. Normal shipping costs would have made it prohibitive. Kudos to the House of Staunton for this lovely product and especially for the free shipping, which made this purchase possible.
