Our Best Selling Solid Wood Chessboard has returned!
The House of Staunton is proud to announce the return of our Custom
Contemporary Line of Premium Chessboard. These Chessboards are now
available in a variety of woods that will compliment virtually any set of
Chessmen. The board
is 1.25" thick and has a warm, natural satin finish. The playing
surface is raised 3/8" above the frame and is simply gorgeous. Please
note that, as will all House of Staunton Premium Chessboards, the Custom
Contemporary Chessboards include a frame that is the same width as the
squares on the board. For example, a board with 2.375" squares would
feature a 2.375" frame and would be 23.75" x 23.75" in
size.
