Important Note - The Ivory pieces are not actually the snow-white color seen in these images. The color is more of a very light cream color, close to the background color on this page, in other words, off-white not bright white. Very light color plastic is quite hard to photograph!

Collector Style

This heavily weighted set has been crafted to replicate the exquisite design and proportions of the original Staunton pattern Chessmen, registered by Nathaniel Cook in March of 1849 and first manufactured by Jaques of London in September 1849. The distinctive feature of this set is our Knight design, which is modeled after the noble steeds from the Greek Parthenon (Elgin Marbles) and are unsurpassed in beauty and craftsmanship.
