New Staunton Style Rosewood Chessmen with a different twist!

Looking for chessmen with a slightly different flair? Look no further than the Royale Series chessmen in the finest boxwood and Rosewood from the House of Staunton. The chessmen have some minor deviations from the strict Staunton pattern in the Kings' and Queens' finials, but the over-all effect is a very pleasing design. No more turning a Rook upside down when you promote to a second Queen, this set of chessmen comes standard with four (4) Queens! The Rosewood chessmen are displayed in the image that follows.

Technically, as stated earlier, the set is a nicely stylized Staunton. The set is well turned and finished, with crisp detail, and lacks the numerous tool marks, burrs and burns so prevalent in sets manufactured in India.
