The new House of Staunton full tournament-size, weighted and padded, Capablanca Series chessmen feature a full 4.0" King with a 1.875" diameter base. These chessmen, a new design are offered in Bud Rosewood and Boxwood. This set features exaggerated broad bases with finely turned detail normally only found in much more expensive House of Staunton chess sets. The chessmen are cushioned in green billiard cloth and come housed in a lockable mahogany-stained box with brass quadrant hinges. Available in natural and ebonized boxwood, natural and Bud Rosewood, or boxwood and rosewood.

Please note that the Slender look of the Capablanca make them ideal for a 2.25" square chessboard!
